SNV Netherlands Development Organization, United Nations Development Programme and the Municipal Development Partnerships held a regional conference to address the issue of localizing the Millennium Development Goals in Africa as a more effective way towards poverty alleviation. This conference was held from 9 – 11 August in Kampala, Uganda and hosted by the Uganda Ministry of Local Government.
